2 CACF Faenza Rare pattern of Italian Plates, 1950s Vintage, 8” Rose, green, navy Blue, mustard Yellow “Floral Bouquet” glazed ceramic earthenware plates. I got these from an estate, They are perfect! No chips, cracks, or glazing. Mustard gold edges. 2 sets/2 8”, 3 soup bowls, 2-9” plates available. Extra shipping is required> 5 lbs.

CACF is the mark of an organization, cooperative of many Faentine ceramists who formed the “Cooperative of Ceramic Artisans of Faenza” in late 1945. On 11/22/1944, U.S. B-25 bombers of the 12th Air Force bombed German forces in Faenza, Italy. The historic 1800s ceramics factory of Achille Farina was partially destroyed. In 1945, artisans of CACF restored the kilns of Farina pottery. In 1947 they moved the factory across the road. CACF remains the most important of Faenza’s artistic ceramics factories, & it has never forgotten its purpose of maintaining a proud 500 year heritage. 💝
